That A-10 is my hero .. I can count at least 4 times the Warthog came in and saved my butt. There isnt a better sound than that jet flying in low and slo then hearing the mini gun wind up and BLAMMMO!!!

Ah, you should of seen the demo they do with the A-10s then (while ya still can!), shallow dives with a tight brake turn right above the deck and pre-planted explosives (I think the sea-bees used a bit too much this airshow, they had to shut down the runway for almost an hour to sweep debris off it and extinguish some grass fires started).

~4:30 Note this was ~1-2 when the marine layer was starting to completely burn off for the day, so 90% of the haze you're seeing is the overcast, but there is some smoke in tehre generated from the demo.
