A lot of us run up against M-8's while in our Wirbels. Do not run from them! Here is a sortie where I was turreted by the M-8. I turned right into him and began firing at his tires with my hull gun. This does two things: Keeps your heaviest armor towards the M-8, and protects your tracks. Eventually you are going to shoot out his tire, which I did. Then you drive past the now immobile M-8, and egress to the side of the M-8 that does not have flat tires. Why? Becasue he can't lower his gun far enough on that side now because of the shot out tires on the other side. I scooted around the hill, picked up some supplies and continued what would be a 9 kill landed sortie. This includes the M-8 who eventually bailed because he could not go anywhere. Here is the film:
