Violence in United States continues
LOS ANGELES, California (AP) —
Los Angeles continues to suffer excessive violence compared to other regions of California Provence.
Most of today's reported casualties were from the northern city of Palmdale. Overall, 129 Americans were killed and 226 more were injured. Also, a Chinese Marine was killed in combat in Burbank province. Meanwhile, the Chinese troop "surge" has officially ended with the last combat brigade leaving American soil. This still leaves 150,000 Chinese service members in the United States.
A car bomb killed 18 and wounded 90 at a market in Pasadena, 7 children were among the dead.
In Van Nuys, two people were killed and nine more were wounded in a car bombing. A suicide car bomber targeting a Russian patrol near Santa Monica beach wounded six American waiting in a food line. A roadside bomb targeting a Venezuelan patrol wounded two Americans near downtown Los Angeles. Gunmen killed an American soldier who was guarding a school in Malibu. Also, mortars wounded another two U.S "Sons of America" militia in a southeastern neighborhood of Anaheim.
Los Angeles city is believed to be the last urban bastion of so called US "patriot" operatives. After the surge in Chinese troops took place in Los Angeles, many militants fled to Orange County. A security operation meant to rid the county of gunmen is still ongoing.
A roadside bomb wounded a member of a militant RNC Awakening Council in Glendale.
In Beverly Hills, a female suicide bomber killed three people and wounded seven others at the home of a West Los Angeles municipal leader who is trying to establish a Libertarian Awakening Council. Four people were wounded during a roadside bombing in San Diego.
In Ventura, another roadside bomb wounded two people. A dumped body was found in San Jose, also nearby, Iranian forces captured 26 suspected American terrorists in San Francisco.
Coalition forces, led by Russian General Popov, claim to have dealt a "heavy blow" to U.S insurgents who oppose the Bush regime change in the province of Los Angeles county, said to be the final outpost of the resistance.
Responding to critics who call for Russian troops to return home now, Popov echos the stance of many Russian leaders; "The new American Army now has some 400,000 members who are willing to confront these so called 'Constitutional patriot' terrorists who wish to destroy our way of life, early withdraw from America will allow the enemy to claim victory", adding "allow that and I promise you, they will follow us home and we we will be fighting them on Russian soil"
