Gas prices here are bouncing daily from $3.99 to $4.29 a gallon.. I pretty decided to give the oil industry the big middle finger and cut my gas consumption. So, I bought my wife and I (she has a pink one) two of these..
It's a 150CC, gets 80mpg or better, and does 75mph (I can push it to 85 but only when needed...I'll cruise at 65 nicely). They're economical and fun as hell to ride.. Gets way better mileage than my motorcycle (which you can see in the background). Since I've gotten this, both cars pretty much sit in the garage unless we need to go on trips or need to take the kids somewhere.. Otherwise, I use mine top commute to work (I only live about 3-4miles away) or to run errands or whatever. Kinda nice when you can go to the gas station with a $5.00 bill and get change.. People are like "WTF???". Then they see this thing and ask all sorts of questions.. Here in Indiana, we got lots-o-rednecks in these here parts and are still all about spending every last dollar they have from the minimum wage job they hold to gas up that piece of shit early 80's pick-up truck. I'm ridiculed by these pariah occasionally.. But, it brings joy to my spirit when I know that they are still eating pork-and-beans from those little cans you buy at the gas station for $1.29 because that old shitbox they drive gets 5 miles per gallon..

that is a sweet ride.
Although I must say, I have you beat on that. I hardly have the need to drive, except to the golf course 2 miles away, and I commute to work via bicycle so that is about 1/4 mile per 1/16 gallon of water. I must say, that is pretty fuel efficient haha

4.43/4.53/4.63/5+

the 5+ is diesel, but i know a secret

i want to buy a diesel because they can run on used vegetable oil (the oil greasy stuff left in the vat after making french fries at like mcDonalds)

Fast food places would probably give it away for free

ONLY down side is that it has a lower octane so it burns faster, but guess what? 3 Miles a gallon isnt bad when you're driving a 60's Volkswagon Bus and never paying for gas, EVER

(still asking santa for a 60's shaggin wagon, bed and all)

Eh, you've been watchin' too much TV dude... Check-in to what's involved to make an engine run on used cooking oil.. It's actually Bio-Diesel. And there's quite a process involved into making it.. Check this site out--->http://www.veggiepower.org.uk/page208.htm

You'd have to really put some time, money, and effort into making this work..
You'd also have to do some modifications to the engine AND you can only use it in diesel engines. I've looked up some info on this and it's not really cost effective for several reasons:
1. it will destroy and rubber material present in the engine compartment. So, think of hoses, bushings, gaskets, etc.
2. it's not even legal to do in the US, however the EPA doesn't enforce it.

3.The cost to actually make the stuff properly so your engine can run on it is more per gallon that the price of diesel currently.
