Hey guys I was just wondering if we have made any steps forward on registering for FSO. We are a good squad and will be a major asset in the FSO arena. I did last weeks FSO and it was really a bunch of fun. I was very impressed at the level of organization. The event started right on time, no one in the group I was in made any trouble and we all followed the rules. It really was a good experience and I encourage anyone who has not participated in one of these events to give it a shot. I know it can take a while to get us registered as a squad so if anyone has a heads up on someone we can fly with this week let us know, maybe we can all get together anyway. Happy hunting <S>

i agree Red, its definately something worth trying. i attended tonights event and saw that it is something that seems to help the individuals in a squad keep a mutual awareness for each other, and with the pig sounds and awareness of thine pigs, it should be good times. over and out . roger

I noticed that Friday's event had a huge turnout.

What do we have to do as a squad to make this happen? I think that this would be something real fun and different to do.

Ok guys I talked to the right people and asked about gettin a sqaud in there but we would have to have a certain number of people attend each friday which i know i cant do everyone so i cant be the CO of the FSO sqaud, but what i would rather see us do since there is only like 4 or 5 of us who have expressed interest is to go to Saberone and get him to invite you into JG2. This is run by CHAPPY and i have already talked to him and he said he would probably have room. If we need to I will ask him to raise his cap so that he can fit more.

What time does the FSO run on Fridays? I would love to do it, but I need to know the time slot so I can speak with Frau General about reserved time.:D

According to the rules when we sign up we pick what number we are going to commit. So if we decide to join and are worried about turn out we can just commit 4-6 pilots. They give you a 2 person leeway, meaning that we can bring up to 8 and must have at least 2 for the entire tour (a tour lasts 1 month.) I would be happy to help with the logistics side of it and handle emails and orders that we receive if no one else wants to step up to the plate. I know i am new to the squad and I hope it doesn't seem like im pushing the issue to hard, but i would like to participate in FSO and fly with the guys I like rather than strangers.
