my daughter is having minor surgery tomorrow to fix a problem she is having with her bladder. It's called reflux and basically her kidney's send urine down to her bladder but because of the problem, the urine backflows into her kidney's causing repeat kidney infections (not good).

The procedure is "minimally invasive" and very common but I guess when it's your child on the table- ANY surgery makes you worry.

So, I won't be flying for a couple of days. Hope to see you all by this weekend.

*UPDATE*


Ok, everything went very well. The doctors said she did great and things went very smoothy. We are already home and she is laying on the couch watching cartoons. Other than having her take it easy today, the doctors say there is no official recovery time and that she could go to preschool tomorrow if she'd like. She's not going, but we were suprised that they said she could.

The scariest part of it all was afterwards when she was waking up. Creepy seeing her eyes open but her not seeing anything really. Strange stuff.
