control questions

Noob questions I know but I have never used these and I would love some info on them.....
Padlock...I have farted around a bit hunting ground tgts and see the highlight on the nmy icon...
Tracker....what is and how does it work...

padlock it hightlights your selected target and follows it around as long as you have line of sight. I have never used it, but if you dont have good SA (meaning, you have a hard time figuring where your friends and enemies are) then you better not use it. I would rather get trakir, it is so much easier to follow your icon with it. btw padlock does nothing other than highlight your selected target, you still have to use your views to look at it and figure out how to get behind him.
