I've read about half of this book and think it's just awesome. Wow, I'm so much the guy that just doesn't pay attention and dives into a fight with no E. Since reading the first half, I've started to pay attention a lot more and bug out when things are going against me. Made a big difference.

I HIGLY recommend after you read this to start reading Soda's Aircraft Evaluation site.

http://members.shaw.ca/soda_p/models.htm

In my opinon the most useful information you can have is flight characteristics of your plane and your enemies plane.

I record most of my flights. When I have time I go back and review what type of planes I fought and I go aread soda's evaluation of that plane. It gives me great insight into what I could have done better and I apply it next time I am up against that plane.

Over the past few years I have spent a few days here and there where I just pick a plane to try, read Soda's evaluation and go fly it.

I feel it has made me a much better pilot.
