Here is another short film of an effective merge Sunsfan taught me. In the MA it tends to work gangbusters. Aircraft with a good climb rate help but I've tried it in all kinds of stuff with good results....just make sure to try and conserve your E and use flaps to get over in the 2nd immul..... Here Oldcrow completes 1 merge with me but doesn't follow through with the second....i wind up on top with the options to attack while he just ....dies

again more comments/ thoughts / pointers or what not are welcome I'm very much commited to learning:salute:

Some aircraft, especially the 38, can actually perform a TRIPLE immelman if needed. a P38 can complete a loop with a starting airspeed of only 150...I have even lopped them pretty much right off the runway at takeoff!

the 38 is one hell of a fighter. Doesnt do anything GREAT but does EVERYTHING WELL.

I use the double immelman pretty frequently in my zero. It's amazing how well it works in the MA. Even planes that can keep up with me don't even know to try so I end up swooping in on the six and finishing the fight. Nice move.

This used to be the standard merge in duels but it has been largely replaced by a looping chandelle.
In the MA I'd think you could catch a lazy zoomer now and then but it leaves you very vulnerable, at the top, to other cons. IMHO
