Truth be told, using a soundpack made me a better pilot. Before my comp crashed, I had been using Mitsu's soundpack for over a year. The benefits become hugely apparent when in a furball because after awhile you can distinguish individual aircraft just by the engine sound. So even without seeing what planes are near you, you can hear them. The LA7, Pony, and Zero have very distinct sounds.

Currently I am running USRangers soundpack. So far I like about 90% of what I'm hearing. I'll keep you guys posted.
